Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis

I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to adults, young adults, and adolescents. My office is in Greenwich Village.

I’m a Visiting Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychoanalysis at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. I’m also a fellow at the DeWitt Wallace Institute of Psychiatry, an interdisciplinary research unit at Weill Cornell Medicine. I previously taught at NYU, where I was a tenured professor of the history and theory of communication. I received my B.A. from Brown, my Ph.D. in History from Stanford, and my clinical training from the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR), with additional training through the Melanie Klein Trust.
