I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to adults, young adults, and adolescents. My office is in Greenwich Village.
I’m Visiting Faculty in Clinical Psychoanalysis at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. I’m also affiliated with the DeWitt Wallace Institute of Psychiatry, an interdisciplinary research unit at Weill Cornell Medical Center. In earlier years I taught at Princeton and NYU, where I was a tenured professor of the history and theory of communication. I received my B.A. from Brown, my Ph.D. in History from Stanford, and my clinical training from the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR), with additional training through the Melanie Klein Trust.
