I’m a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Greenwich Village, where I work with adults, young adults, and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, complex life transitions, and other difficulties. I also teach at Columbia, where I’m an associate professor of clinical psychoanalysis in the Department of Psychiatry.
I received my B.A. from Brown, my Ph.D. in intellectual and cultural history from Stanford, and my clinical training from the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR), with additional training through the Melanie Klein Trust.
