Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis

I’m a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Greenwich Village. I’m also an associate professor of clinical psychoanalysis at the Columbia Psychoanalytic Center. I work with adults, young adults, and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, complex life transitions, and related difficulties. Others come mainly out of curiosity, interested in learning more about their inner worlds. A good treatment, I believe, balances insight with kindness.

I received my B.A. from Brown, my Ph.D. in intellectual and cultural history from Stanford, and my clinical training from the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research  (IPTAR), with additional training through the Melanie Klein Trust.
